Works on my system (OS X 10.11 running SeaMonkey 2.39b1). Seems like the
player uses the html5 jwplayer to play an mp3 file. are you using the
most recent version of both SeaMonkey and firefox? You may get more
responses by cross-posting this to mozilla.support.[seamonkey]/[firefox]

I installed latest version for Linux Puppy which is 2.38, but the link still does not play.

It works fine under XP.

Hello,

it's the JW-Player <http://www.jwplayer.com/learn-more/>

Works fine with SeaMonkey German 2.39b1 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1;
WOW64; rv:42.0 from official download area) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/42.0 Build 20151028234211 (Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit.

Player loaded with German SeaMonkey 2.41a1 (X11; Linux x86_64;
rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0 Build 20151029003002 (Classic
Theme) on VirtualBox Ubuntu 14,
but it will not work, I can click play/pause as often as I want, clock
showing how many seconds already played will not start.

I did not do further tests why player fails. May be you should ask for
help here <http://www.jwplayer.com/contact-us/>.

CU

Rainer
