How to alphabetize Collected Addresses in my address book?

Hi,

I am running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. The names in my Collected Addresses
file are randomly listed, despite my having clicked on to view them by
name in ascending order. This means that I waste much time looking
through several hundred addresses to find the needed one. What must I do
to have the names listed in ascending alphabetical order? On my older
pc running Windows XP with SP3, they are indeed listed alphabetically. I
guess that the electronic transfer shook them up (joke).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. After several frustrating weeks, my address book is suddenly in
alphabetical order today. I did nothing new today to change it in any
way. Ask Bill Gates, I guess.
